Weekly Changelog for September 17th, 2019

A look at this week’s changes to the Ultima Online: Serpent Isle server. A new client download is required this week, advancing to version 0.3.

This list is not exhaustive.

General

  • Updated clilocs to fix missing errors.
  • When exiting War mode, new logic will cue the correct theme for the area.
  • City Loyalty is now active. (Single-click yourself and select “Loyalty Rating”)
  • Many houses can now be purchased and placed. (NOTE: Server changes may force relocation of houses. Efforts will be made to notify homeowners in advance.)
  • Footstep sounds now match the surface you’re walking on. (Disable “Play Footstep Sounds” from the options menu)

World

  • Cleaned up a lot of coastline and smoothed some blocky map areas.
  • Added some missing dungeons.
  • Serpent Jawbones and Teeth can now be found.

Monitor

  • Replaced some static signs.
  • For City Loyalty, the Stone and Herald are at the Town Hall, the Trader is at the docks, and the Guardsman is near the north gate. The Board is also at the Town Hall.

Fawn

  • For City Loyalty, the Stone, Herald, and Guardsman are all in the Palace. The Trader is near the docks. The Board is at the Tavern.

Moonshade

  • For City Loyalty, the Stone, Herald, and Guardsman are at the Castle. The Trader is at the Provisioner’s. The Board is at the Tavern.

Sleeping Bull

  • Added huntsman trophies.

Dangerous Places

  • Fixed a couple of staircases that you could climb but not descend.
  • Replaced a couple of static fountains with proper usable ones.
