A summary of the ongoing changes to the Ultima Online: Serpent Isle server. A new client download is required this week, advancing to version 0.2.

GENERAL
- The server has been moved to dedicated hardware.
- PVP is now active. Players can post and collect bounties for murder.
- Support for UO Razor now available. The Get Connected guide has been updated.
- Fixed a problem with Taming via the context menu that would crash the server.
- Resolved a number of missing string issues in vendor lists.
- Removed Haven from the Help menu.
- Account character limit raised to 5.
- Disabled item insurance.
- In conjunction, mobs that have taken player items now have prevention against despawning.
- The server now auto-restarts every day at 3am EST (New York).
- Young player status reduced to 2 hours.
- Fixed an issue with shovels getting a null result, causing a crash.
- Mage spell inventories have been randomized.
- Save interval has increased to 15 minutes.
WORLD
- Added some mobs to the world. Some wandering healers, too.
- All towns got a once-over to make sure ovens, forges, looms, mills and the like were available and working. Same goes for vendors, banks, and healers.
MONITOR
- Moved a guard so the North gate is always accessible.
- Harnna’s farm now has crops.
- Fixed an impassable doorway.
- Trial run of property rental in towns. 4 houses are now available.
- The List Field is now hosting hourly duels.
FAWN
- Fixed the entrance gate.
- Guards and goblins battle for control of Fawn Tower.
MOONSHADE
- Added the town NPCs and vendors.
SLEEPING BULL
- Bull Tower construction complete.
DANGEROUS PLACES
- The entrances to Furnace are now home to dread spiders.
- Lizardmen and vile creatures roam Gorlab Swamp.
- The mountains north of Monitor, west of Sleeping Bull have been overrun by giants.
